[Officers] potential for a significant early season winter storm

NWS Albany will hold a conference call TODAY to address the potential
for a significant early season winter storm across our region starting
tonight and lasting into Tuesday night.



BRIEF DISCUSSION

The storm has the potential to bring heavy, wet snow to some areas, and
heavy rain and flooding to other areas.

Winter Storm Watches and Flood Watches will likely be posted later today
for the Albany forecast area.




 

We (OFPC and me, in particular) will be participating in the Conference
Call.  I will forward any information as it becomes available.
