The East Glenville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary is “dedicated to serve the Firefighters and community with pride”.

The Auxiliary’s purpose is to cooperate with the Fire Company in all its affairs and promote the social welfare and recreational interests of the firefighters. They prepare meals for monthly drills and assist with various other events as needed. We take an active role during the Annual Open House and other events serving refreshments to the community.

During major emergencies such as structure fires or other long duration events the Auxiliary is called upon to prepare meals and provide refreshments to the active firefighters. 

The Auxiliary presents an annual Scholarship to the son/daughter of an active Auxiliary member who is furthering his/her education after graduation in a vocational school or college.

Finally, the Auxiliary supports various charities such as Concerned for the Hungry, the Animal Protective Foundation and the Fireman’s Home in Hudson, NY.
