The Fire Company is often referred to as the social part of the Fire Department. The Fire Company is comprised of all of the active and inactive members of the department and is governed by an executive board. The executive board is includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Fire Company holds monthly meetings where the company discusses and organizes the non-emergency events to be held such as; fundraisers, breakfast with Santa, fire house tours, Pashley Day, sports team sponsorships and our Open House just to name a few. Volunteers are first introduced to the Fire Company when joining as it is the membership that interviews and approves volunteers as members. The Fire Company also completes our annual fund drive where we ask for donations to fund all of these activities. The Fire Company receives no additional funding other than your generous donations. Once a year the membership, thru the Fire Company, not only elects is executive board, but also the Firematic officers.
